The fields are slowly taking on a green hue as the crops are starting to grow.

I bought a couple of bunches of tulips the other day. The first ones I've bought this season. I love tulips and they look so cheerful in a vase on the dining table.

Day 8 - January 8th

Today Steven and I went to the cinema to see Spiderman Into the Spider-Verse.

Day 7 - January 7th

I've been busy making some flowers and cards to put them on them.

Day 6 - January 6th

The snowdrops in the churchyard are now in flower.

Day 5 - January 5th

We had a nice bracing walk over the fields this morning. It was windy but dry.

Day 4 - January 4th

Our village has a new village sign on the village green - it has an interesting strapline!

Day 3 - January 3rd

Noticed this group of ladybirds today bedded down for the winter in the crevice of a fence.

Day 2 - January 2nd

Today Lara and I went to the cinema to see Mary Poppins Returns.

Day 1 - January 1st (New Years Day)

Happy New Year.

Day 365 - December 31st

We spent tonight quietly at home. Watched a DVD, played a few games, ate and drank and then at midnight watched the fireworks in London on BBC.

Day 364 - December 30th

Nothing beats an open fire on a cold winters night.
