Day 81 - March 22nd

For Christmas my niece gave me a small jug and some Grape Hyacinth bulbs to plants in it. I duly planted the bulbs and hid them away in the cool garage in the darkness to force them to grow.

Last week I checked the jug and was pleased to see that they were doing very well so for the past week or so the jug has stood on the kitchen windowsill in the sunshine. The plants are now flowering.
