Today the UK recorded the warmest March day in 53 years. It was certainly warm in my car this afternoon.

I have been varying my morning dog walking route. Today's walk took me past these daffodils bordering the grass.

Whilst going to a dentist appointment today I parked in the supermarket car park. It's interesting to see how busy the car park is. Today it was busier than the last time I was there but still no where near as busy as pre-pandemic.

It was interesting to watch Lara carry out her routine Lateral Flow Covid Test today. It was thankfully negative.

Day 70 - March 11th
Lara returned to school this week. As part of the arrangement for secondary schools to reopen, students are offered twice weekly Lateral Flow Covid Tests. Having had a couple at school, today Lara was given a number of tests to be carried out at home over the coming weeks.

After taking Lara to the dentist this week, I popped into Sainsburys and picked up a bunch of tulips. They didn't take long in our warm living room to fully open.

I have eagerly been looking out for the violets to start flowering but sadly there don't appear to be many. I spotted these few tucked away under some bushes in my Mum & Dad;s garden.
