Today we visited out favourite North Norfolk beach. Actually it's possibly our favourite UK beach - Winterton-on-Sea. The beach is so unspoilt. There are no amusement arcades or shops selling kiss me quick hats. The only facility is a car park and a small cafe at the top of the cliff.
We've been visiting Winterton-on-Sea since the boys were little and have only ever been in the Autumn.
Today it was very windy and the sea was quite rough but it was still OK for a paddle and some skimming of stones.
Sadly, like many coastal villages on the East Coast, Winterton-On-Sea has suffered some coastal erosion and each time we visit we notice the cafe is a little closer to edge of the cliffs.
