Day 303 - October 30th

Today we had a last walk on the beach before returning home tomorrow.

We drove 20 minutes to one of our favourite beaches at Winterton-on-Sea.

Having donned warm coats and wellies (essentials for an autumn beach walk) we visited the Dunes Beach Cafe for hot drinks  (also an essential) to take onto the beach.

There were lots of other people enjoying a walk, many with their dogs,  but with a vast expanse of sand there was plenty of room to spread out without being on top of other people.

Whilst we walked we were lucky to spot a couple of seals in the sea a few yards off the shore. A little further north along the beach at Horsey there is a colony of seals and on a previous visit to the area we walked from the village of Horsey to see them on the beach. Today however we had to be satisfied with brief glimpses of them bobbing up and down in the surf.

Safe journey home - always nice to spend the last day on the beach to keep you going until next time x
