Today was a grey, miserable day when we drove to Nottingham to bring Christopher home from University for the Christmas break.
Due to heavy traffic we were diverted a different way into Nottingham and drove very close to, and round the other side of, the familiar massive coal-fired power station near to the M1. The cooling towers really dominate the skyline and driving so close to them made us realise just how huge they are.
