This evening whilst in WHSmith I picked up a free copy of The New Day newspaper. It claims to be the first standalone national daily in 30 years and is described as 'a modern, upbeat newspaper for modern half-glass-full kind of people'. I wasn't impressed. Maybe I'm not a modern half-glass-full kind of person!
