It is criminal the amount of food waste which goes into landfill and in an effort to try and tackle food waste, The wonky veg boxes which are being trialed contain peculiar potatoes, crooked carrots and curved cucumbers, knobbly peppers, cabbages, onions, leeks and parsnips. As the boxes say ' A little blemish here, a little knobble there but Beautiful on the Inside'.

I really hope it catches on, it is such madness to only use perfect shapes, they are vegetables for goodness sake!!
