2018 Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt

Once again I have been taking part in the Summer Photography Scavenger Hunt organised by Mary-Lou of Patio Postcards

Here are the photo I took:

1. The Rosiness of Red
Car taken at the Revs and Rhythms classic car and music event we attended in July.



2. Stripes
Stripes on a paper tag on a scrapbook layout I created.



3. A Framed View
A view of Tout Quarry Sculpture Park at Portland framed by the hole in one of the sculptures.



4. Wings
I struggled to choose a photo for this so chose two! 
A swan kindly spreading his wings at Abbotsbury Swannery, Dorset......



..... and, wings at the Imperial War Museum Duxford.


5. Pedal Power
A cyclist who photo-bombed my photo of the beach at Weymouth.



6. Glorious Green
My daughter dressed and ready for her School House Olympics day complete with green hair.



7. An Unexpected Reflection substituted with Alternative A - A shopping bag
I couldn't resist buying this cute dog print shopping bag at TK Maxx.
(I could probably have used photo no 1 as an unexpected reflection!)



8. A Pile of
A Pile of origami paper cranes made by my daughter.



9. Looks smaller than you
Portland Bill Lighthouse being held by my daughter.



10. A Field of Plenty
A field full of buttercups.



11. Pretty in Pink
Jellyfish at The Weymouth Sealife Park illuminated by pink lighting.



12. Bell(s)
A bell on the wall of Portland Castle.



13. Equal Portions substituted with Alternative B - A Coupon to use
Various coupons collected during our holiday in Dorset.



14. A Trilogy of Three
Three cygnets at Abbotsbury Swannery, Dorset.



15. Out of the Blue
A crab shell which can 'Out of the blue SEA'



16. Something that could be from a favourite book / movie
The Hogwarts Express at the Harry Potter Studio Tour.



17. Re-purposed
A scarecrow at our village scarecrow festival made by the village store using bottles, egg boxes, an old mop .....



18. Currency, coinage or paper (the odd, the different, the beautiful)
Wizarding money at the Harry Potter Studio Tour. Knuts, Sickles and Golden Galleons.



19. Picture Postcard Perfect
Abbotsbury Sub-Tropical Gardens


20. Mellow Yellow
A dish of Pineapple and Passion Fruit Eton Mess eaten in the restaurant at our local pub.

Oh my goodness you have some brilliant photos here! You were brave to get that close to the swan - I've heard they can be a bit bad tempered! The pink jellyfish photo is a great example of not seeking the obvious - brilliant.

Karen you are some very interesting finds - especially the re-purposed - someone was quite creative with the egg cartons. Oh my I have never seen so many swans together. Thanks for joining in & I do hope you had fun searching things out.

Great photos . Your daughter has become strong being able to lift a lighthouse and I love her green hair.
