Today we joined a group of walkers for a 7 miles walk from Meppershall to Shefford and back via Campton.
It was nice to walk routes we've not walked before and discover new footpaths.
The route took us alongside fields and rivers, through woods and briefly along roads.
The walk took us through Campton Plantation which has been a wooded site for over 300 years.
In 2010 wood sculptors were commissioned to create a series of statues and benches within the plantation. During the walk we saw quite a few of the sculptures but plan to return again to see the rest.
