This afternoon we joined our monthly walking group for a circular walk from/to Pirton via Little Offley and Pegsdon Hills. The walk took about two and a half hours and we walked just over six and a half miles.
The Pegsdon Hills area is part of a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire and is also within the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Part of the site has also been designated by Natural England as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
The site has wildflower meadows and the most spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
(A swing with a view!)
