Today we drove to South Wales. Traffic was very heavy!!!! What should have been the shortest part of the journey (M1 and M25) took about as long as the rest of the journey. We were quite relieved when eventually we crossed the Severn Bridge.
We received a warm welcome from the owners of our holiday home and a gift of eggs from their own free range hens, a bottle of wine and a plate of fresh baked Welsh Cakes (AKA Bedfordshire Donuts!)
