Day 208 - July 27th

We started our first full day in Wales with a visit to the beach at Ferryside. For a Sunday morning the beach was surprisingly quiet.

The tide was out and we spotted quite a few crabs which had been stranded.

After the trip to Ferryside we drove on to Pembrey Country Park. Pembrey Country Park consists of some 500 acres of parkland and an 8 miles long beach of golden sand. The park also contains various visitor attractions.

Soon after arrivign Lara found herself a comfy seat.

Like Ferryside, the tide at Pembrey was out so we had a long walk to the waters edge for a paddle.

Floating in the water and washed up on the shore were lots of Sea Potatoes.

We then had a short sit on the sand to allow some digging and creating to take place.

Before leaving Lara had a few goes on the Cobra Toboggan Ride.
