Day 216 - August 4th ( and my 1000th blog post)

Today we popped into Pembrokeshire again to visit Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo. When planning our visit we had been unsure whether it would turn out to be more suitable for younger families but we were not disappointed and found plenty to see and do whilst there.

There were a mixture of farm and zoo animals including a sleepy month old baby donkey .......

..... some inquisitive penguins....

.... a rather startled Black and White Ruffed Lemur....

.... a very hungry Capybara ....

.... extremely tall giraffes (viewed from a raised walkway) ....

and, a large heap of sunbathing Cusimanse.

In the farm barn I noticed this sign which made me smile. Has someone started a new venture????

There were also lots of vintage fairground rides to enjoy like the carousel.....

..... and the Big Wheel.

The views from the Big Wheel of the park and the surrounding countryside were spectacular.

Later Lara was able to demonstrate her skill at operating a mini digger!

We were also pleased to be able to continue our mission to sample every cake and ice-cream in South Wales.

All in all a good day with the bonus of more glorious hot sunny weather.
