Happy New Year!
The weather forecast for today hadn't been great so when we unexpectedly woke to sunshine, Wayne and I decided to go for a walk.
We decided to drive to Priory Country Park at Bedford and from their walk to Danish Camp at Willington, following the route of the old railway to Sandy.
We followed the made up cycle path (Path 51) out of Priory Park and crossed several bridges over the River Ouse heading towards Willington.
We stumbled across some impressive graffiti on one of the old railway bridges.
We walked through woodland.....
.... and finally reached Danish Camp.
We then turned around and walked back to Priory Park but this time took the route back beside the river.
It was a good walk. About 7 miles and took us about 2 and a half hours.
