This afternoon we drove to Letchworth to explore part of The Garden City Greenway, a 13.6 mile long circular route around Letchworth suitable for walkers, runners and cyclists alike. The Greenway was a one million pound project funded by the Heritage Foundation, to act as a permanent commemoration of Letchworth Garden City's first centenary in 2003 but we have never walked it.
The scenery wasn't as varied as yesterdays walk (mainly beside farmland) , but it was still nice to be outside in the fresh air.
We did spot some catkins in the trees which ! haven't seen previously this winter.
Radwell Meadows Country Park is part of the Greenway and we stumbled across this concrete orb on one of the paths.
