Day 300 - October 26th

Today was my birthday and I was spoiled with card, presents and cake.

I was also treated to a boat trip at Wroxham.

Six years ago we took a Broads Tours trip on the 'Belle of the Broads' but today we were on the 'Queen of the Broads'.

The trip took us out onto two broads, Salhouse and Wroxham past some beautiful waterside properties.

We also passed lots of other boats - many were hire boats.

Back at Wroxham, the swans were out in force eager to be fed by the many visitors.

After a brief stop at a cafe for lunch, we had a look round the town.

We always smile in Wroxham when we see 'Roys'. Roys of Wroxham is a very well known and popular family owned group of shops in Wroxham. Founded in 1895 as a general store, Roys is now a large department store plus a separate toy shop, food hall and cafĂ©.

The Christmas displays rivalled any found in the large national department stores.

I loved these Christmas rats!
