Day 206 - July 24th

This afternoon we visited Wrest Park at Silsoe with my Mum & Dad and brother and sister-in-law. At one time we used to visit Wrest Park often but it has been several years since we last visited. The grounds were still as beautiful as always with lots to see.

A lady kindly offered to take our photograph as we sat outside the 'Tea House' - it would have been rude not to accept her offer.

The rose garden which was restored to it original design in 2011 contains lots of different varieties of roses which have been bred to look like traditional Old English Roses.

I especially liked this next variety called 'Harlow Carr'. It was such a pretty rose and smelled gorgeous.
