We realised the other month that the two apple trees in the front garden had had no blossom this year and so there are no apples. This week I found one, single apple on one of the trees, Unfortunately on close inspection I saw that it isn't the perfect apple that it first appeared to be as it has a hole in one side where it's been nibbled by an insect!
