Day 209 - July 27th

I was really surprised when the doorbell rang this afternoon and there stood a man telling me he had a delivery of roses for me. I even asked him to double check that they really were for me before I signed for them!

When I opened the box I was thrilled to find a 'Harlow Carr' rose bush (the same variety as the rose I had admired at Wrest Park last weekend) and a gift card saying it was a souvenir of our visit. Such a thoughtful gift and one which will certainly remind me of our lovely afternoon spent wandering around Wrest Park.
