Day 260 - September 17th
Christopher bought these chocolates back from his European trip. We last ate chocolates like these in 2013 when I blogged about them. Katzenzungen translates as 'Cat's Tongues' and are a traditional German treat given as gift when visiting you are invited to afternoon tea.

One of our trees is smothered in ivy. I have never really noticed before how pretty the buds on ivy are.

I noticed this tiny pink wildflower growing beside our greenhouse. According to the internet it is a Geranium Robertianum also called Storksbill. Stinking Bob and 'Death Come Quickly'!

This week Christopher and a friend are takign part in a Banger Car Rally across Europe so today they made their way to France for the start.

Today was Lara's first official day back at school. She had a half day induction on Wednesday but today it was a full day.

The car club which Christopher is a member of were showing their cars at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford today so Christopher and Wayne went along.
