Its starting to look a lot like Autumn.

I've posted before about Lara's cactus collection. They are really doing well and will need potting on again soon.

Day 265 - September 22nd

Sunday lunch at the pub today included a rather yummy chocolate brownie Sundae. 😀

Day 264 - September 21st

Today I picked up my first conkers of the year in the churchyard.

The bees are enjoying the unseasonably hot weather.

Day 262 - September 19th

When I left work today the temperature in my car was 25 degrees!

Day 261 - September 18th

The begonias are still looking a picture.

Day 260 - September 17th

Christopher bought these chocolates back from his European trip. We last ate chocolates like these in 2013 when I blogged about them. Katzenzungen translates as 'Cat's Tongues' and are a traditional German treat given as gift when visiting you are invited to afternoon tea.

Day 259 - September 16th

Polyanthus in the garden are starting to flower again.

Day 258 - September 15th

Today Lara harvested the last of the vegetables she has been growing this summer.

Day 257 - September 14th

Christopher has arrived in Prague at the end of the Car Rally and will be home tomorrow.

Day 256 - September 13th

One of our trees is smothered in ivy. I have never really noticed before how pretty the buds on ivy are.

Day 255 - September 12th

Autumn is on its way - piles of leaves are appearing.

Day 254 - September 11th

I noticed this tiny pink wildflower growing beside our greenhouse.  According to the internet it is a Geranium Robertianum also called Storksbill. Stinking Bob and 'Death Come Quickly'!

Day 253 - September 10th

Whilst Christopher has been away he's sent us the occasional photo. Today we received this amazing photo taken whilst crossing the alps from Austria into Italy.

Day 250 - September 7th

This week Christopher and a friend are takign part in a Banger Car Rally across Europe so today they made their way to France for the start.

Day 249 - September 6th

Today was Lara's first official day back at school. She had a half day induction on Wednesday but today it was a full day.

Day 248 - September 5th

Today was our Wedding Anniversary. Wayne gave me some beautiful flowers including these lovely roses.

Day 247 - September 4th

There seem to be a lot more dahlias in my Mum & Dad's garden this year including these beautiful pink spiky ones.

Day 246 - September 3rd

The fuschia plants are still in full flower.

Day 245 - September 2nd

The Rowan Tree is now covered in berries.

Day 244 - September 1st

The car club which Christopher is a member of were showing their cars at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford today so Christopher and Wayne went along.
