This afternoon Lara and a friend went to see 'Six' at the Milton Keynes Theatre.
Wayne and I dropped them off at the theatre and then went into the shopping centre to do a bit of Christmas shopping.
It was very busy with lots of shoppers but the centre looked lovely with all the decorations.
After shopping we returned to the theatre, which was also decorated for Christmas, and waited in the cafe for the show to finish
Lara is enjoying being crafty. Wayne gave her some scraps of plywood and today she painted one.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. 😁
Lara's been making Christmas cards.
Lara finished another jigsaw today.
This afternoon I found some time to finish a scrapbook page.
This morning the logs were moved into the log store. They are all neatly stacked ready for winter fires.
Today we had our log delivery.
My cyclamen plant that lays dormant and neglected for a good part of the year is now starting to shoot. It always amazes me that it knows when to wake up.
Inspired by watching 'Junior Bake Off', Lara decided to have ago at making some Party Ring biscuits. They turned out really well.
It was dry enough today for a dog walk over the fields.
Raindrops can be so pretty.
Beautiful two tone Chrysanthemums.

Raindrops keep falling on my head 🎵🎵🎵
I have Book Club tonight. I read this months book whilst on holiday last month so this afternoon I quickly reminded myself of the names of the characters, etc.
I bought this pink Poinsettia whilst shopping at the weekend. I've never seen a pink Poinsettia before.
Today we joined with the rest of the village for our village Remembrance Day Service and Act of Remembrance.
A very cold start to the day.
When the children were small, our friend Kay gave us a 1000 piece jigsaw for Christmas. We have started to make the jigsaw several times over the years but each time have given up because it was soooooo hard. This year Lara decided to have another go!
First mince-pie of the season.
The wild mushrooms / toadstools here aren't as large as those in Norfolk!
Glancing out of the office window this morning after the rain stopped, I spotted this rainbow.
A selection of wet polyanthus giving a bit of colour on a wet gloomy day.
There are still a few rose buds in Mum & Dad's garden.
Lara gave me this bar of chocolate as part of my birthday present. I'm not really a fan of gingerbread but this chocolate wasn't bad.
The plants in the tubs by the front door aren't doing too badly considering how wet and cold it is.
