We recently went to Costco and Christopher asked us to pick up a tub of Sourdough Pretzels. The tub was huge and the pretzels are too. Its takign quite a while to get through them.

This mornings walk was dry and bright but there were lots of puddles on the way.
Crops are growing well in the fields.
Millie enjoyed having a run and a good sniff.
In the hedgerows there was plenty of 'Old Man's Beard' .....
.... and Catkins.

After seeing snowdrops in the Churchyard just after Christmas, I was pleased to see a clump in flower in my Mum & Dad's garden. They always seem to flower later in their garden than at the churchyard.

My Mum gave me a bunch of daffodils. They were tight buds when she gave them to me but a few hours in the warm house and they have opened up.

Once the Christmas decorations have been packed away the house looks so empty. We've left the twig-lights and some candles out and the Poinsettias will stay for the time being.

Happy New Year.
After a chilled morning, this afternoon Wayne and I wen for a walk around Wrest Park.
Inside the house the Christmas tree was still in place.
