Day 274 - September 30th

Amongst the marigolds we bought and planted earlier in the year, there was one rouge marigold. It has grown far taller than the others and is only just flowering. From this photo you can see its smaller relatives in the background.

I think this is the eighth year I have taken part in the scavenger hunt and have to admit this year I found it hard to find interesting things to photograph. Day 264 - September 20th

Yesterday I took Tux to the vet. Friday evening he was struggling to walk on his right back leg and was generally not himself. The vet found an infected wound on his leg and had to clean and stitch it up. I collected Tux today. He's feeling very sorry for himself with his buster collar and bandaged leg.
