Horses are now kept in several of the fields we walk Millie through and we spotted these huge mushrooms growing on a pile of horse manure. Googling them I found out that they are Egghead Mottlegill mushroom which typically grow on dung!

This morning Wayne & I had our first coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine. The local council offices are being used as a vaccination centre. It was all very organised and efficient.

Whilst going to a dentist appointment today I parked in the supermarket car park. It's interesting to see how busy the car park is. Today it was busier than the last time I was there but still no where near as busy as pre-pandemic.

Lara returned to school this week. As part of the arrangement for secondary schools to reopen, students are offered twice weekly Lateral Flow Covid Tests. Having had a couple at school, today Lara was given a number of tests to be carried out at home over the coming weeks.

Our back lawn is dotted with Polyanthus that have spread from the flower border.
