Day 331 - November 27th

This afternoon Lara and I joined some friends for a trip to the theatre to see SIX!

We were due to have seen this last year but due to covid it was postponed twice. Lara had seen the show a few years ago but it was my first time and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Meanwhile at home, Millie had a feline nursemaid watching over her.

Day 328 - November 24th

At the beginning of the year I made a Panettone Bread & Butter Pudding. We really enjoyed it but because Panettone are generally only widely available at Christmastime we've not had it again since. Recently I spotted a Panettone in the shops and bought one, so today I tried the recipe again. It was delicious.

Day 306 - November 2nd

Hidden in our laurel bushes is this self-set Stinking Iris also called a Roast-Beef plant. Apparently It is known as "stinking" because some people find the smell of its leaves unpleasant when crushed or bruised,an odour that has been described as "beefy". It doesn't smell of anything to me.
