The dessert van no longer visits our village but when we heard it was visiting a neighbouring village, we made the trip tonight to collect some desserts.

Day 313 - November 8th
Today I found Tux on our bed. It's quite unusual for him to climb onto our bed, but with the change in weather, darker nights and central heating being switched on, he's been changing his sleep places.

Day 312 - November 7th
My Book Club has been invited to display a Christmas tree at a forthcoming Christmas Tree Festival. We have decided to decorate our tree with homemade origami tree decorations made from book paper. Tonight a group of seven of us gathered together over wine and nibbles to fold our decorations.

Day 305 - October 31st
Today was our last full day in Norfolk and we decided to hire a self drive boat for a few hours.
It was only a small boat but it enabled us to explore part of the River Ant and Barton Broad.
We picked the boat up at Stalham and drove at a steady speed along the waterways.
We passed the beautiful Hunsett Mill, a recently restored Grade II listed water pumping mill that has stood since 1698. The mill keepers cottage is now available to rent for holidays.
