Lara's guide company were helping by serving refreshments at an exhibition of guiding memorabilia being held at the parish church.
There were hundreds of badges, photos, newspaper clippings, etc.spanning 100 years of guiding in Bedfordshire. It wasn't easy to take photos inside the church because the sun was streaming through the windows but I did quickly snap a couple of photos of some of the many uniforms on display.

Cake looks good - and if that is Lara's uniform then I would say that they have improved greatly in the (many) years since Maggie and I were brownies and guides!
