When I was at school (many years ago) we all had to make an apron in our needlework classes which we would later use in our cookery classes. The aprons were made of gingham cotton fabric and we decorated the squares with cross stitch. How times have changed! In Lara's needlework classes this term she made a cable tidy for keeping the cable on her earbuds tidy.
