We headed straight for the Canoe Safari before it got busy.
This year Wayne and Steven shared a canoe and Lara and I shared one.
Both canoes set off in the same direction but we quickly lost each other only to 'bump' into each other (quite literally) from time to time!
After our time in the canoes, we collected some bikes and spent forty five minutes cycling round the wetland area.
There is so much to see at the centre. The views from the hides over the pools and reed beds are spectacular.
So much wildlife and wild flowers to see as you walk around.
We came upon this family of swans - mother, father and 9 cygnets.
Lara spotted this tiny toad on the side of the path.
