Day 37 - Fabruary 6th

We woke this morning to a very light dusting of what appeared to be snow. The 'flakes' were almost like those tiny polystyrene balls that are used to fill beanbags but they were very soft. I did some research and apparently this type of snow is called 'Graupel' or 'Snow pellets'. A bit like hail but soft.

Whatever it was, it didn't stick around for long.

A new word! I have never heard of Graupel but I have seen those tiny little round frozen droplets
