Today we visited the Imperial War Museum at Duxford. The Triumph Six Sports Club were holding a Triumph and Classic day and Christopher took his car.
There were lots of Triumph cars on display and it was interesting to see them all.
After looking at the cars we looked at the museum exhibits. We started in the Land Warfare Hall where there are themed landscapes showing how land fighting has changed from WWI to the current day.
We then moved to the American Air Museum.
New to the exhibits was a piece of the Berlin Wall on loan from the Royal Anglian Regiment.
We also visited the hangers which show aircraft which are in the process of being restored and also planes from the Battle of Britain era and navel aircraft and boats.
Finally we visited the Airspace hall with some of the most famous aircraft in the world - the Spitfire, Lancaster, Vulcan and Concorde.
A really good day out.
