Today we had a family outing. Wrest Park has recently re-opened to the public and so we booked a visit for this afternoon.
It was lovely to get out and experience some normality after having nowhere to go for so long.
It didn't seem at all crowded and everyone stuck to the social distancing rules.
It was lovely and sunny and we had a lovely couple of hours wandering around the grounds.
A lot of the usual planting of flower beds hadn't been carried out this year due to the ongoing pandemic but the rose garden was looking beautiful.
We finished out visit with an ice-cream from a van parked outside.
