Day 216 - August 4th

Today we returned to Anglesey to visit Plas Cadnant - Hidden Gardens.

We last visited Plas Cadnant in 2019 and were keen to visit again.

The flower beds were a riot of colour.

Last time we visited, the cafe was in the process of being enlarged and it was nice to see that this had been finished.

It was quite warm again but down by the river it was generally shaded and cool.

Outside the new cafe ares, a harpist was playing.

As it was still quite early when we'd finished otu visit we decided to stop at Criccieth, about 8 miles from where we are staying.

It was quite busy with lots of people on the beach and a popular place for  paddle boarding.

Wayne & Steven proved that you're never too old for rock pooling.

The day out ended with ice creams on the beach.
