Today Wayne had an appointment in Bedford to have the damaged windscreen in his car replaced.
We left the car near Priory Park and walked into the town centre.
The day started out bright and sunny and it was pleasant walking through Priory Park.
We left Priory Park and followed the river into town.
Longholme Boating Lake was closed with the boats tied up in the middle of the lake.
After grabbing a quick lunch, we headed back to pick up the car, just as the rain started.
The rain stopped as we neared the end of our walk and when we crossed Cardington Sluice it was quite sunny again.
At the side of the water we spotted this huge heron.
