Today was Wayne's birthday so the day started with cards and presents.
Any plans we might of had for going out in the morning were quickly cancelled as it rained all morning and most of the afternoon. At about 3pm when the rain had stopped we decided to drive along the coast for a walk on Chesil Beach at Abbotsbury.
It was very blustery and there weren't many people about, just a few fishermen hoping to catch some mackerel and a handful of holiday makers who like us had ventured out for some fresh air.
Later in the evening the weather took a turn for the better and we were able to enjoy birthday cake whilst sitting in the garden followed by card games in the sunshine.
