Day 139 - May 18th

Today we repeated a walk we have done several times before, Priory Park at Bedford to Danish Camp at Willington.

When we started walking, you could have been fooled into thinking it had been snowing because all along the edges of the path it was white.

Looking up we realised it was willow seed which had blown from the trees.

In the hedgerows and the grassy areas there were lots of flowers appearing- roses, daisies, campion, irises and lots more.

At Danish Camp we stopped for a drink. There were lots of boats moored up.

I assume it must be snail season because, like in Norfolk the other week, there were lots of snails (and slugs) to be seen.

We also saw this bright blue Damoiselle.
