We stopped off at the Dunes Cafe to buy some hot drinks to take on our walk.
Many other people had the same idea and there was a short queue for drinks and rather delicious looking cakes and pastries. Another visit may be necessary later in the week!
Not many minutes after we set foot on the sand we spotted our first seal playing in the surf.
Not long after, we spotted more. More than we have ever seen before from this beach.
They were very close to the shoreline and we stopped for a while to watch them before continuing our walk.

Lovely photos, I love this part of the country. It's great to get out on a beach walk this time of year, it blows the cobwebs away.
