Thrigby Hall was built in 1736 and was opened as a wildlife park in 1979. The building now houses the gift shop and offices.
The wildlife park is home to a pair of Snow Leopards ....
..... a pair of Amur Leopards ....
.... and a pair of critically endangered Sumatran Tigers.
There are raised 'tree walks' throughout the park which enabled us to get up close to the animals.
Lara was smitten with the domestic cat sized Leopard Cats.
The Racoon Dogs were enjoying a snooze in the sunshine.
In the Swamp House there were many crocodiles and alligators and many wobbly bridges crossing over their enclosures.
The Red Panda was very active, climbing up and down the trees.....
.... and the Meerkats were on look out.
After out visit we headed back to the coast passing Thrigby Windmill on our way.
Back by the sea, we decided to try another Crazy Golf Course.
Yet again, Lara won!
