Today Steven went away to France with the school for a few days. I dropped him off at school at 7.30am and got an email from the school just after 1pm to say the children had all arrived safely in France. Seems an incredibly quick journey but as they were going on the Eurotunnel I guess its to be expected. Bit different when I went to France with the school as a child. We travelled by ferry and it took AGES!!!
He's taken our other little digital camera with him so hopefully he will use it while he's away and come back with a few photos.

It is nice that they let you know so quickley
The e-mail was a lovely touch from the school, and very reassuring for you.
Modern technology is very clever isn't it. 'No news is good news' used to be the motto when my children went on school trips and that was not so long ago - its nice to things are improving.
That's a lovely way of keeping you up to date. We just get a note stuck on the gate.
