Day 299 - October 26th

Today was my birthday. I was given some lovely cards and presents and a cute little cake.

We decided to spend the day at Blickling Hall - something that we have done before on my birthday.

Blickling Hall is a National Trust property and was the birth place of Anne Boleyn. 

For the past six months there have been a number of art installations called 'The Word Defiant' at Blickling Hall. Inspiration for the displays came from the 12,500 books in Blickling's library. You can read all about the art installations here, the highlight of which is this huge exhibit in the library.

Outside we were able to wander around the grounds.

In the orangery, the citrus trees were doing well......

..... and there was lots to see in the walled garden too.
