Day 220 - August 8th
This evening we went for a walk in Weymouth and ended up at Greenhill Gardens.
In 1872, Sir Frederick Johnstone, MP for Weymouth and racehorse owner, laid out Greenhill Gardens for the people of Weymouth. In 1902, he gifted the gardens to the town.
The paths have remained very much the same but new features have been added over the years including the floral clock in 1936
It was a nice place to walk after a rather wet day.
