After yesterday's heavy rain, today we woke to a dry day.
We decided to make the most of the weather and in the afternoon (when the tide was out) went for a walk on my favourite beach - Winterton-on-Sea.
In years gone by access to the beach was straight from the car park ,but due to severe coastal erosion access from the car park is not now advisable so from the car park we followed a short stretch of the Norfolk Coast Park through the dunes to get onto the beach.
Adders are regularly sighted in the dunes so we always keep our eyes open ands stick to the path.
As it was late afternoon when we went for our walk the beach was quite empty.
Later after a fish and chip take away dinner from the local chippie, we spent the evening in the pub opposite the cottage we're staying in.
