Day 300 - October 27th

We had a quite day today just mooching around Wells-Next-The-Sea and I took very few photos. The town is a network of narrow streets, old alleys and yards, and has some impressive Georgian and Victorian architecture. Some of the buildings are hundreds of years old, including former coaching inns and public houses. Many are now listed buildings. This was the road we stayed in - the High Street. It was the quietest High Street I think I've ever walked down.

What a quaint High Street - love the pretty coloured houses. We stopped at Wells on the way back from Holkham and had lunch in a lovely old traditional cafe there - it was really nice old fashioned service.
